Lean Manager Yellow Belt

Why do you need this service?

Lean Manager Yellow Belt provides a solid foundation for understanding waste, flow, standardisation, Kaizen and basic problem solving in everyday work.

Lean Manager Yellow Belt – practical Lean fundamentals

The programme is a good starting point for people beginning their work with Lean who want to understand the shared language of improvement. Participants learn to observe processes, recognise losses and propose simple improvements, rather than treating Lean as a set of disconnected tools.

We connect Lean Manager Yellow Belt with the broader field of Lean Management. Additional methodological context is available in Wikipedia – Lean manufacturing.

Lean Manager Yellow Belt is intended to lead to practical application. After training, we encourage participants to work with real processes, implement small improvements and develop their skills further at subsequent programme levels.

Implementation support

We provide support based on the Kata process, which allows us to adapt our activities to the specifics of your organization, taking into account the jointly set goals. The Kata process consists of four key elements that enable effective implementation of assumptions.

Determining the course of action

Designing a concept that responds to the organization's goals and challenges.

Determining the current state

Learning about the current situation and collecting input data to define the next step.

Determining the target state

Determining the desired and measurable end result and a plan for its implementation.

Experiments - consultations

Implementation of activities in accordance with the established cooperation model, based on PDCA cycles.

We operate according to PDCA

• Identify areas for improvement by mapping the current condition
• Select an area for a small improvement project, for example using the Pareto principle
• Define the objective and measures for a simple improvement project

D

DO

• Implement 5S in practice at a selected workstation
• Recognise and eliminate waste
• Carry out simple standardisation activities, including checklists and instructions
• Practise tools such as basic SMED and FIFO

C

CHECK

• Verify results and identify what has improved
• Discuss the effects during the final workshop
