Maciej Misiurek is an expert in IT transformation, process digitalization and the practical use of artificial intelligence in organizations. He has more than twenty years of experience on both sides of technology projects: as a consultant implementing ERP and warehouse systems, as a software house owner, and as an IT and engineering leader responsible for selecting, evaluating and maintaining business-critical systems.
He is CTO and co-founder of etwi.io, a digital work instruction and competence matrix platform used by manufacturing plants around the world. He is responsible for its technology, architecture, infrastructure, security and implementations for corporate clients. Earlier, he built an IT and security function for a growing e-commerce company, led IT systems in a large distribution business with direct board reporting, and managed an engineering organization of more than forty people at a European transport platform.
In projects related to Poland’s National Cybersecurity System and the NIS2 Directive, he is responsible for technical readiness and implementation. His work includes scope qualification, readiness reviews, mapping services, systems, assets and suppliers, assessing the IT supply chain, and strengthening business continuity through backups, recovery testing, contingency plans and incident preparedness. He also helps organizations establish the evidence needed to demonstrate that adopted safeguards work in practice.
Artificial intelligence is another core area of his work. He has implemented AI in software development, test automation and industrial products. He helps organizations move from isolated pilots to everyday team use while bringing AI tools into asset inventories, risk assessments and supplier requirements aligned with the EU AI Act and ISO/IEC 42001. He treats AI tools like any other business software: they need accountable owners, clear rules of use and controlled version changes.
Within LeanTrix, Maciej supports projects involving digitalization, AI, IT transformation, and organizational readiness for NIS2 and national cybersecurity requirements. His role focuses on preparation and implementation rather than acting as an independent statutory auditor; where a project includes both implementation and formal audit, those responsibilities are separated before work begins.
Maciej graduated from Wrocław University of Science and Technology in Management and Production Engineering and completed postgraduate studies in project management and business psychology. He has lectured in Lean Manufacturing postgraduate programmes at WSB Merito University in Wrocław and spoken at industry conferences, including Lean TWI Summit 2025.
