Project Transfer Within an Organisation Using TWI

Why do you need this service?

A project transfer between plants requires moving operational knowledge, work standards and employee competencies alongside machines and documentation.

Project transfer – standardised work and secure knowledge transfer

The greatest transfer risk arises when knowledge remains in experienced employees’ heads, instructions do not reflect the actual working method and the receiving plant starts learning the process only after launch. TWI helps organise standards and prepare instructors before the process is moved.

We connect the transfer with Training Within Industry, eTWI, standardisation and change management. eTWI also describes the methodological context of knowledge transfer through TWI.

We complete the project transfer only when the new location can operate the process consistently. We therefore revisit instruction quality, operator competencies, instructors’ work and the stability of results after launch.

What is our role?

  • As part of project transfer, help standardise processes before relocation at the site where the project is currently carried out.
  • Lead the team in accordance with project management guidelines.
  • Create digital work standards with your team using the eTWI system.
  • Improve processes using TWI Job Methods and Kaizen AI.
  • Support employee onboarding at the destination using TWI Job Instruction.

Implementation support

We provide support based on the Kata process, which allows us to adapt our activities to the specifics of your organization, taking into account the jointly set goals. The Kata process consists of four key elements that enable effective implementation of assumptions.

Determining the course of action

Designing a concept that responds to the organization's goals and challenges.

Determining the current state

Learning about the current situation and collecting input data to define the next step.

Determining the target state

Determining the desired and measurable end result and a plan for its implementation.

Experiments - consultations

Implementation of activities in accordance with the established cooperation model, based on PDCA cycles.

We operate according to PDCA
