Dr Katarzyna Misiurek is Vice President at LeanTrix and a Master Lean Construction Trainer, responsible for developing the TWI program and Lean Management methods tailored to the construction industry. She specializes in applying tools such as 5S/6S and Kaizen in construction operations to enhance safety and process quality.
As an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, she leads teaching in structural mechanics and contributes research in Lean Construction, focusing on process standardization (TWI, 5S/6S, Kaizen) as a means to mitigate occupational safety risks on construction sites.
Dr Misiurek is the author of significant English-language research, including the article “Improvement of the safety and quality of a workplace in the construction industry with the use of the 6S system”, which presents a Lean-adapted methodology for improving site safety through the integration of a “Safety” step into the 5S framework.
She has advised numerous construction firms on implementing Lean standards, work systems, and safety routines that support continuous improvement and process stabilization.
