AI in Training Within Industry

Why this service is needed?

We support companies in implementing and developing the TWI program by integrating it with artificial intelligence tools to enhance work standardization, reduce training time, and strengthen leadership capabilities.

In times of rapid change and growing expectations for frontline leaders, AI becomes a practical ally in daily operations: it helps create TWI JI instructions, generate ideas for improving work methods (TWI JM), prepare conversations with employees (TWI JR), analyze safety risks (TWI JS), and solve operational problems (TWI PS). It’s a concrete response to the challenges of time, quality, and employee engagement in the process of continuous improvement.

What is our role?

  • Diagnose the organization’s needs and identify which TWI methods (JI, JM, JR, JS, PS) should be integrated with AI tools.
  • Train TWI leaders and instructors on the practical use of artificial intelligence in their daily work.
  • Support the creation of TWI JI instructions with AI – faster, more precise, and compliant with standards.
  • Help teams generate Kaizen ideas and improve processes using TWI JM and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, KaizenUp).
  • Prepare leaders to conduct employee conversations (JR) and resolve conflicts with the support of AI.
  • Co-create safety checklists and risk analyses in the TWI JS area, using AI as a safety assistant.
  • Facilitate Problem Solving workshops (TWI PS) with AI support for root cause analysis and action planning.
  • Provide and implement the KaizenUp application, integrating Lean and TWI with artificial intelligence tools.
  • Monitor the results of implementation and support continuous development to ensure AI becomes a permanent part of the TWI program.

Implementation support

We provide support based on the Kata process, which allows us to adapt our activities to the specifics of your organization, taking into account the jointly set goals. The Kata process consists of four key elements that enable effective implementation of assumptions.

Determining the course of action

Designing a concept that responds to the organization's goals and challenges.

Determining the current state

Learning about the current situation and collecting input data to define the next step.

Determining the target state

Determining the desired and measurable end result and a plan for its implementation.

Experiments - consultations

Implementation of activities in accordance with the established cooperation model, based on PDCA cycles.

We operate according to PDCA

P

PLAN

  • Diagnose the current state of the TWI program implementation in the organization.
  • Define the objectives of AI implementation in the context of each TWI method:
    • TWI JI – accelerate the creation of job instructions.
    • TWI JM – generate ideas for improving job methods.
    • TWI JR – create conversation scenarios and support communication.
    • TWI JS – identify safety risks and develop safety checklists.
    • TWI PS – support root cause analysis and problem documentation.
  • Select the appropriate AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, DeepSeek, KaizenUp) and determine their role in the TWI process.
  • Plan training and workshops for TWI instructors, leaders, and trainers on how to effectively use AI.
  • Develop an implementation timeline for integrating AI into each TWI method, including pilot phases.

D

DO

  • Conduct training sessions on TWI methods with the integration of AI tools:
    • How to create Job Instructions (JI) with AI support.
    • How to generate improvement ideas (JM) using prompts.
    • How to use AI to prepare for challenging employee conversations (JR).
    • How AI can help develop safety checklists and assess risks (JS).
    • How AI can support 5 Why analysis, Ishikawa diagrams, and action planning (PS).
  • Provide access to the KaizenUp application as a daily TWI assistant for team leaders.
  • Collaborate with participants to create initial training materials supported by AI (e.g., JI instructions, JM cards, JR scenarios).
  • Integrate AI into organizational development routines: morning meetings, TWI reviews, Kaizen boards, and action reporting.

C

CHECK

  • Collect feedback from training participants and TWI instructors – what works well and what can be improved.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of AI in each TWI method (e.g., time required to create JI instructions, number of JM ideas generated, quality of JR conversations).
  • Verify the level of AI tool usage in leaders’ daily work.
  • Analyze data from the KaizenUp application – feature usage, training outcomes, and reporting.
  • Review materials developed with AI support and assess their compliance with TWI methodology.

A

ACT

  • Consolidate best practices by creating a library of ready-to-use prompts and templates for each TWI method.
  • Develop leaders’ digital competencies through regular workshops and ongoing online support.
  • Scale the implementation to additional departments or locations.
  • Further develop AI models through fine-tuning based on real company cases.
  • Regularly update TWI materials using data and insights from daily operations.
  • Embed AI as a permanent element in leadership and TWI trainer development programs.
