Charity Contest 1st Lean TWI Summit
Open Charity Contest for participants of the 1st Lean TWI Summit as well as for all those interested in the topic of work standardization. The contest is conducted in Polish and English. The contest supports the Foundation and Association working for people on the autism spectrum.
Basic Information
- The contest involves creating a Work Instruction according to the principles of the TWI program in the eTWI system (access to the system is free).
- The list of operations to be standardized, from which participants are to select one for the contest, has been prepared by the Palace of Subculture, which is dedicated to helping individuals on the autism spectrum.
- The evaluation of the prepared TWI Instruction will be conducted by 5 TWI specialists, who will assess the quality and usefulness of the TWI Instruction.
- The higher the average rating of the TWI Instruction, the higher the placement in the contest - TWI Instructions will be independently evaluated by a 5-person Jury.
- The prepared Instructions will be used by caregivers of individuals on the autism spectrum for the purpose of teaching their charges.
Prizes
- Above all, you help. Your TWI Instruction will be practically used by members of the Foundation to teach their charges the most crucial activities that individuals on the autism spectrum need to manage.
- The 3 Contest Winners (individuals with the highest rating) will receive free admission to the autumn TWI Instructor course, valued at over 600 EUR net.
- 10 Honored Individuals (individuals with the highest rating) will receive recommendations from 5 members of the Jury on the LinkedIn platform and will be featured on the official Leantrix Social Media channels as individuals distinguished in the Contest.
How it works?
Fill out the survey in which you choose 1 operation that you want to standardize based on the TWI Instruction.
After completing the survey, you will receive an instructional video with the rules for creating TWI Instructions, so you know which rules should be followed and how to use the eTWI system to execute the TWI Instruction.
After choosing the operation, you will gain access to the eTWI platform, where you will have a TWI Instruction assigned to be executed in the system.
By June 10, 2024, you will prepare a TWI Instruction for the operation you have chosen, based on the training materials provided.
On June 12, we will announce the Winners and Honored Individuals, and you will receive feedback in the eTWI system for the TWI Instruction you prepared.
On June 19, the prepared TWI Instructions will be available for viewing at the Palace of Subculture's exhibition booth at the 1st Lean TWI Summit.
Who is this contest for?
- For anyone interested in the topic of work standardization and who also has an open heart to help.
- You don't need to be familiar with TWI; you will receive an instructional video from us with the rules for creating TWI Instructions.
- You don't need to be a participant in the Lean TWI Summit, as anyone can enter the contest.
- The total time you need to spend gaining knowledge about TWI and preparing the TWI Instruction will not exceed 2 hours!
Why TWI?
- There are numerous studies and research on how TWI instruction impacts the learning of individuals on the autism spectrum.
- The TWI method of Instructing Employees systematically enables the transfer of knowledge, which is immensely important for such individuals to acquire basic skills.
- TWI primarily teaches caregivers how to conduct instruction - Your TWI Instruction will be passed on to caregivers of individuals on the autism spectrum.
- TWI Instructions are an essential tool for conducting structured instruction.
Charity
- 1.5% of the conference revenue will be donated to the purposes of Foundations and Associations working around the Palace of Subculture.
- We encourage all participants to donate 1.5% of their tax to the "As" Association for the Support of Children and Adults with Asperger Syndrome and Related Disorders - KRS 0000390203.
- Our team is engaged in the action of teaching parents of children with autism how they should educate their children using the TEACCH method.
- At the conference, you will be able to meet people from the Foundation and the Association and offer your support.
